Joachim is a Lead Scientist at CoSyne and is responsible for overseeing the molecular biology and functional genomics projects undertaken by the wet lab team. Joachim holds a PhD in molecular biology from the University of Zurich and has over 15 years of experience in academia and industry. Joachim discovered his passion for biotechnology and functional genomics during his Postdoc in Japan where he developed new technologies to deconvolute the transcriptional regulatory networks responsible for direct reprogramming of diverse neuronal subtypes in the brain.
