Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Daniel is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer working at the intersection of machine learning research, software engineering, and chemistry. Daniel holds a degree in Physics from Oxford University and a degree in Biotechnology from Cambridge University. Prior to his role at CoSyne, he was modelling binding interactions for the development of cancer vaccines at InstaDeep (BioNTech) and worked on reinforcement learning in the AI Research team. Daniel has also contributed to the machine learning community through publishing papers in ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR) and as a contributor to open-source projects including an MLOps template co-developed with Google Cloud and a suite of reinforcement learning environments written in JAX. He is a pragmatic engineer grounded in first principles and is driven by a desire to advance science.
