Ana is a Machine Learning Researcher and is responsible for the AI pipeline in Chemistry, specifically working in the protein-ligand interaction. Ana holds a PhD in theoretical particle physics from the Technische Universität München & Max Planck Institut für Physik. Prior to CoSyne, Ana held positions in biotech and fintech where she was responsible for data science and machine learning projects, including graph-enhanced Large Language Models for gene-target prediction and the prediction of protein pocket druggability. Ana is driven by working in projects which can have a positive impact in society and enjoys finding creative approaches to problem solving.
